East Anglian law firm Ellisons Solicitors has introduced designated wellbeing champions to support its more than 270 employees both at work and at home.
As of this month, just under 20 wellbeing champions were introduced across its various departments and offices in Suffolk and Essex. Their responsibilities include promoting the firm’s wellbeing policies and raising awareness about the various ways staff can access support.
Over the past three years, Ellisons Solicitors has launched a range of benefits changes for its workforce, including a flexible working policy, an equality and diversity initiative, workshops covering nutrition, sleep and men’s health, mental health first aiders, a benefits portal incorporating wellbeing resources, and training in health promotion and management development.

The firm also launched menopause training designed specifically to educate male employees about women’s health, as well as a domestic abuse policy created in order to raise awareness and signpost to available external support.
