Facilities management provider Atalian Servest has rolled out a monetary wellbeing service to its 28,000 strong workforce based in locations across the UK and in sectors including construction, healthcare, education, professional services and retail, among others.
In partnership with financial wellbeing app Wagestream, staff can track their shifts and pay on a day-to-day, manage their budgeting, create savings, get free financial coaching, have access to deals on financial products and get paid flexibly.
According to the business, it introduced this as part of its proactive approach to providing immediate support and guidance to staff, and to subsidise fairer and cheaper financial services to help build workers’ financial health and resilience long-term.

The introduction of the app also added to Atalian Servest’s commitment to health, safety and wellbeing, in particular tackling the causes of work-related stress. For example, in 2020 it launched a colleague-led diversity and inclusion platform Chroma, which includes various panels, including a physical and mental health committee.
Its approach to employee engagement also includes the monthly Atalian Servest Superstar Award and Chroma Superstar Award, where winners are nominated by fellow staff members and receive a Love2Shop voucher.
