Tailored dog food delivery firm Tails.com has introduced a financial wellbeing platform for its more than 300 members of staff.
The platform, provided by Bippit, gives employees access to one-to-one financial coaching with a professionally qualified Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) coach matched to their needs, after they answer questions about their financial concerns.
The service also offers tools for Tails.com staff to navigate the cost-of-living crisis, including personalised learning resources, monthly webinars on topics such as pensions and protection, and tools and calculators to track goals, analyse spending, and review financial health checks. The service is free of charge for employees and has no tax implications.
According to the business, the cost-of-living crisis brought into focus its desire to do more to support its staff through economic uncertainty. Tails.com stated that it recognised its employees are all in different situations, so decided to offer individual financial coaching and tailored support in order to help with this.
Hannah Prewer, senior people partner at Tails.com, said: “At Tails.com, one of our core values is to be game-changing and in our recent benefits review, we wanted to make sure we followed through on that. From generous maternity and paternity leave to a pioneering wellbeing benefit giving people paid regular time off to focus on activity that makes them feel good, with extra dog walking optional. Bippit fits well with our values, helping our team stay ahead of the game when it comes to their personal finances.
“Helping us each to be our best self is important at Tails.com. Personal and professional development comes in many different forms and we believe improving knowledge and confidence when it comes to managing individual finances will be an enabler to help our team achieve things they want out of life.”
