British Gas’ head of reward for residential energy, Paul Simons, is moving to Standard Chartered Bank, where he will oversee reward for South East Asia.
This is a return to international benefits for Simons, who worked as reward manager for Diageo in West Africa in 2004. "I am a big fan of the bank’s work in HR and staff engagement, and the linkages between that and performance," he said. Centrica-owned British Gas is understood to be recruiting a replacement.
