EXCLUSIVE: More than 500 employees attended financial education seminars after Center Parcs introduced an incentive scheme to help boost take up.
The leisure resort firm, which has a workforce spread across six sites, encouraged staff to attend by offering the chance to enter a prize draw to win an iPad.
The sessions were designed for staff to learn more about the benefits the organisation offers and about saving for retirement.

Center Parcs decided to focus the education to a single point in the year, selecting a week in September to avoid busy holiday periods.
It worked with provider Hargreaves Lansdown on the content and communications of its financial education programme.
It used posters, wage slip fliers, village newsletters, line manager briefings and text messages to remind staff of their opportunity to learn more.
Sessions ran from 8am to 8pm on the day of the seminars with presentations held at three points throughout the day. The chosen timings were those most appropriate for the staff at each site.
Face-to-face sessions were also available at times to suit employees.
Elaine Forbes, benefits manager at Center Parcs, said: “We are delighted with the number of staff that came to us to see us when we ran the events.
“It is great to see the hours of planning paid off. The chance to win an iPad caused a bit of a buzz among employees and definitely encouraged some less engaged staff to come along and find out more.”
