Tennants Consolidated has reviewed its pensions administration to boost the value of services for its members of its defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) pension schemes.

The chemicals distribution and wholesale organisation’s pension schemes has more than 1,200 members and approximately £130 million of assets.
The Tennants Pension Trustees wanted a tailored solution and technology to deliver member communication.
Following a procurement process involving a shortlist of four other ogranisations, Tennants Consolidated appointed Buck Consultants at Xerox to provide actuarial, consulting, pensions administration and scheme secretarial services for its DB and DC funds.
Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
